The Town of Stouffville has taken a significant step toward community cardiac safety. In this video, see how one family’s story sparked an initiative that impacts the entire community and will save lives. After losing her father to sudden cardiac arrest, Erin da Luz led an initiative to install an outdoor SaveStation, providing the public with 24/7 access to a lifesaving AED. The Town of Stouffville was proud to support the initiative, matching Erin’s fundraising efforts and helping to triple the impact with the installation of three outdoor, publicly accessible AEDs. Thanks to Erin’s donation, Memorial Park, home to pickleball players, outdoor skating enthusiasts, walkers and more, is now better equipped to protect the community. We were honoured to support Erin and work alongside the Town in bringing these publicly accessible AEDs to the community.
