Hiking 160km Across the island of Madeira

Located in the Atlantic Ocean, the island of Madeira, despite its small size, is home to an incredible variety of terrain. With hundreds of kilometers of trails passing by its steep jagged peaks, waterfalls, lush forests protected by UNESCO and tall sea cliffs at the coasts. This film documents my 6-day experience, hiking 160 km across the island from the western shores, through the central mountainous spine and Madeira's highest peaks, and ending at the ocean on the other side of the island.
