Recon One just came home from the Rubicon and not everything survived the trip. It's been 11 months since I brought this 2021 Wrangler Willys home for this build series, and last week it faced its biggest test yet. In this update, we go over the damage: a shredded fender liner, a fender and light that lost an argument with a tree, and a bent steering stabilizer I didn't discover until I was white knuckling it down the freeway. We'll also cover the upgrades that went on right before the trip, the AEV tire carrier, PSC heavy duty steering pump, sPOD, and a full set of KC HiLiTES, plus a first look at what's coming next. The Rubicon isn't the hardest trail this Jeep is going to see, so the next phase starts now: 40-inch tires, new axles, and a lift kit that isn't even on the market yet. Big thanks to the crew at Shift AutoWorks for getting Recon One trip-ready. 🎥 Watch the full Rubicon adventure: https://youtu.be/3SlBmdI-J28 🌎 TrailRecon Shop: https://bit.ly/trailreconstore ⛑️TrailRecon First Aid Kit: https://bit.ly/TrailReconFirstAidKit Follow me on: 🛻 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/trailrecon/ 📸 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/trailrecon/
