Deeper Dive into Burr Planes

Let's talk about Burr planes by request! To set your Burr Planes, there are two options; one, select "auto detect" and have the software set them or two, set them manually. We suggest manually setting the burr planes for ease of use and accuracy. To set the burr panes manually, zoom in on the base of one antler and place three dots around the base where it meets the scull. When side one is complete, repeat on the other side. To ensure the burr planes are set correctly, review each side and ensure the yellow highlighted area is as small and tight to the antlers as possible; pull this up or down to ensure a tight fit. If it is touching other parts of the subject, (such as ears) it can alter the score. Once the burr planes are set, click the arrow to calculate your score.
