Wetterhorn Peak, Uncompahgre Wilderness: A fall backpack in the Colorado Rockies

This is a 3 night backpacking trip on the western side of the Colorado Rockies. I started at the Bear Creek trailhead, hiked on a beautiful ledge trail up into the high country, then crossed over into the Uncompahgre Wilderness where I climbed Wetterhorn Peak. From there I crossed through Wetterhorn Basin and dropped down to the Cow Creek trailhead.
