Twenty years ago, illegal mining, deforestation, hunting, and encroachment had left Ramdurga struggling to support the wildlife that once thrived here. In response, Wildlife SOS launched the Ramdurga Habitat Restoration Project, planting over 10,000 native trees and shrubs across 50 acres, reviving water sources, and restoring the landscape with the support of local communities. The video captures a heartwarming camera trap moment of a sloth bear mother and cub roaming Ramdurga's lush forests.
