Day 1 of my 3-day backpacking trip on the Shores Lake Loop at White Rock Mountain in Arkansas! This 12+ mile first day took me deep into the Ozarks with creek crossings, rugged trail conditions, and a secluded camp setup to end the day. The Shores Lake Loop is one of the most scenic backpacking routes in Arkansas, offering a mix of waterfalls, forest hiking, and remote backcountry camping.
