Don’t skip Elmer’s Bottle Tree Ranch on your Route 66 road trip. 🍾 Elmer Long spent his childhood combing the Mojave Desert with his deaf father, collecting old bottles and forgotten objects. When his father passed, he couldn’t let the collection disappear, so he picked up a welder and got to work. 🥽 He built 200+ steel trees strung with thousands of glass bottles. Old signs, a rusted jeep, rifles, typewriters, hubcaps, car parts, and even a tree made from a missile casing. Every corner has something that’ll stop you mid-step. 🛞 Elmer passed away in 2019, but his family has kept the ranch open as a tribute to his creativity. ❤️ Tip: Free to enter and open sunrise to sunset. Right on Route 66 between California to Las Vegas. 🙌🏼 𝐇𝐢 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞! 👋🏼 𝐈’𝐦 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐚, 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐟-𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.
