Do they love the water, or are they strictly team grass nap? Let me know in the comments below! Making Memories With Our Dogs Going Swimming in the Pool at Our First Pool Party of the Season! I know a lot of you guys have been following our Instagram and Facebook (find both by searching Gone to the Snow Dogs) and watched last week's video, and you want some updates on Miss Memphis. We have posted a few things on our social media sites, but today guys, I don't want to talk about it. We needed a bit of a break from the scary news we got about Memphis that I am just not ready to dive into yet. So instead, we are focused on making amazing memories because it is a gorgeous 85° outside and it is time for the first pool party of the season! My dogs love swimming in the pool! The dogs were absolutely begging to get in. We got the big pool ready and a perfect little baby pool just for Memphis. Memphis was in absolute heaven pushing her face underwater and enjoying the cool hose water, though she was definitely wondering why everyone else kept trying to crowd her personal dog swimming pool! Meanwhile, Kira and Eleanor were crazy as always, sailing around on the floaties, making leaps of faith, and with Eleanor chasing after the favorite squishy balls, and Kira playing with the hose . We even managed to lift Miss Memphis up into a floaty so she could do some peaceful, solo floating with the wind blowing through her furs. She still has pretty great balance for being a little old and creaky! After all the swimming, big shakes, and super big wiggles, the dogs finished off the day with Memphis napping in the grass, and the other two also hanging out in the yard. It was exactly the kind of fun, positive day we all needed. NOTES Memphis Health Update: You might notice Miss Memphis has a little shaved belly in the video, that is from her recent ultrasound. While we wanted today to just be about fun and happiness, I will be sharing a full update with you all very soon. Thank you so much for your endless love and support. Pool Setup Details: For those asking, we use standard, safe hose water for the pools so the dogs can splash and drink safely. We also use a specially designed dog ramp to make it incredibly easy for them to climb out on their own! Our big pool is a saltwater pool safe for the Dogs to go swimming in, and we do rinse them off and dry them after a swim.
