Swimming Pool Day For the Dogs | First Vlog Without Memphis

Let us know in the comments below! Today is June 11th, and this is the very first official day I have picked up the camera to vlog with just our two Siberian Huskies, Eleanor and Kira. Adjusting to our new normal after losing Memphis has been incredibly tough, and everything feels completely different. We took a few days away from filming to process our grief, but we are back and ready to keep making memories with our girls, just like our channel tagline says: "Life is short, Make memories with your dogs!" We started this warm, humid summer day by cleaning out the garage and taking the top off the Jeep. Jamie set up the baby pool, which will forever and always be known as Memphis's pool, and the girls had an absolute blast beating the heat! Kira jumped right onto her pool floaty to sail around while trying to bite the water from the hose, and Eleanor showed off her impressive balance playing with her new sinking squishy balls. We also shared a look at some of our latest 3D printing projects, including red, white, and blue cookie dragons and the updated 2.0 version of our Eleanor figurines. Later in the evening, we packed the girls into the Jeep for a ride into town to grab a Taco Bell cheesy roll-up snack. We hit some incredibly thick, creepy lake fog near the bay before returning home to the sunshine, where I shared a beautiful solar butterfly light we found at Aldi for Memphis's memorial space. We wrapped up the day with a late-night walk wearing our bright LED collars and even spotted a sneaky bunny in the dark!
