Picture Canyon Natural & Cultural Preserve + Lowell Observatory - Flagstaff, Arizona - 5/26 (4K)

A very nice local park in Flagstaff, Picture Canyon has great views and even some petroglyphs carved on lava rock. The 800+ mile Arizona Trail, AZT, runs right through it. At the end, I've included some pics from Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff where we spent a whole day, leaving & returning throughout the day for their great shows, including the night sky viewing. Flagstaff was the 1st International Dark Sky Designated place in 2001.
