📍Millers Pond State Park - Durham, Connecticut In the warmer months, Millers Pond State Park in Durham is a popular destination for fishing and swimming. The parking lot fills up by mid morning, as visitors look for a relaxing place to cool off. A network of trails run around and through the park, including the 65 mile long Mattabesett Trail. An easy, but not flat, 1.5 mile path follows the perimeter of the pond. Quinn and I continued our 50 mile hiking challenge for February here. As of today, we’re just over 18 miles in and have raised over $200 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
