Old School Saturday! My first backpacking adventure into the North Cascades (From back in 2018)

Ah yeah!! My first backpacking trip into the North Cascades, which I did back in 2018 and previously published. I have gone on to do several more trips in the Cascades over these past 7 years, and have really come to love them! There is something special about being both up high in the alpine and down low in the deep dark thick forest, with the sounds of the rivers echoing through the trees and off the mountain walls. I understand now where the name "Cascades" comes from. It's a magical place, and I can't wait to go back.
