The Wadsworth Mansion - Middletown, Connecticut The Wadsworth Mansion is an elegant historic estate in Middletown, Connecticut. Built in the early 1990s, it was once the summer residence of Katharine Fearing Hubbard and Colonel Clarence S. Wadsworth. Before the turn of the century, the property had been purchased by the city of Middletown and undergone a multimillion dollar restoration. Today the public can explore the grounds including trails that follow an old carriage road. The mansion is a popular venue for weddings, annual events and even hosted an episode of Antiques Roadshow on PBS.
