Airplane Gully is one of the most iconic backcountry ski lines on Mount Washington, and possibly one of the best on the East Coast. Unlike most ski tours that start on a trail, this one starts with a drive to the summit along the Mount Washington Auto Road. With steep terrin, exposure, and little room for mistakes, this line demands your full attention both the descent, and climb back up to the top.
