Gait Matters 👇 Getting into the gym to get insanely strong is one way of fixing problems, but if you continue to have foot, knee, ankle and lower back pain, and you walk in a pattern that looks like you are 12 beers deep then consider the idea that gait is playing a non trivial role in how, when and why that pain occurs. What you are looking at here is a completely different strategy of movement developed over 18 months (particularly the last 3 months) where the habitual pattern of walking has completely shifted. This cannot be achieved through attempting to change the pattern whilst you are walking - it comes from specific movements. It doesn’t take an expert eye to understand why there’s no longer multiple areas of tension & pain. We naturally understand what smooth organised movement looks like, without ever opening a text book. Trust what your eyes are telling you. When it comes to pain, gait matters. It starts with pronation and supination of the foot in Phase 1 of the Hike Flow Method. Comment “Test” below to find out where to begin.
