My first winter overnight camping trip in the mountains! With not-so-winter-ready gear and somewhat mild early March weather, I set out to see if I could make it through the night. This winter, I finally tried something I’ve been curious about for a long time - spending a night in the mountains in my tent. The forecast in early March looked perfect to give it a try, with daytime temperatures around 3–4°C, and a chilly -1°C at night. But there was one problem... most of my gear wasn’t designed for winter camping. So I made a few adjustments, packed up, and hoped it would all work out.
