It is 6 hours from Anchorage. ➡️If you visit in the summer months, it is almost always guaranteed you will see sea lions, bears, and eagles feeding on the millions of salmon coming back to release their eggs. ➡️If you don’t see anything when you go, try changing up timing to early in the morning or later in the evening. If you visit, is so important that you RESPECT THE WILDLIFE. Stay at least 300 feet away from bears at all times, do not feed or interact with the animals, and do not leave any trash.
