This is the beginning of my Camino de Santiago. Before the miles, before the mountains, before the adventure, there was a question I couldn’t stop asking myself: Why am I never someone’s first choice? This isn’t just a hiking series. It’s about loneliness, men’s mental health, purpose, and searching for connection while walking across Europe. I filmed this at Durdle Door, the same beach used for the ending of Project Hail Mary. One of two movies that made me cry. That story is about finding hope and friendship in the most unexpected places, and it felt like the perfect place to begin my own journey. Maybe the Camino won’t answer every question. Maybe it won’t change who I am.
