This is the most underrated, under evaluated and under trained part of archery technique. The front bow hand is the first and last thing to determine the arrow path. This 4” contact point combined with 18,000/sec of launch time is what separates consistency and frustration. I constantly evaluate this part of my form. The front arm should be relaxed from the bicep forward, wrist back and utilizing the natural alignment of your skeletal structure to support the bow at full draw.
