Burning Green Wood Cleanly

This is a compilation of three short video clips that shows how cleanly and efficiently my Vermont Castings Vigilant wood stove can burn a load of green wood. Wood was black birch that had been cut a few days before and measured almost 60% in moisture content. Basically smoke-free burning is possible with good heat transfer if care is taken to get the firebox hot enough to combust this green wood.
