#NorthwestTerritories #SoloAdventure #Canoeing No Roads. No Rescue. 575 km Expert Whitewater Alone in the Northwest Territories | Full Documentary In the summer of 2024 I flew by floatplane deep into the Northwest Territories and spent 16 days completely alone paddling 575 km through one of the most remote places on earth. Starting on the Natla River — a demanding whitewater river — I made my way down the Keele and onto the mighty Mackenzie River with no roads, no people, and no rescue possible if something went wrong. This is the full documentary of that journey. The Northwest Territories has a way of making you feel genuinely small — the mountains, the rivers, the silence, the wildlife, the endless boreal forest with no sign of human life for weeks. If you watched the original three-part series, this is the complete story. If this is your first time here, welcome — this is what I do. 🎥 🛶 If you like this film, you may be interested in my documentary covering a 19-day Arctic expedition down the Hood River that I did with my brother Ted. 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiCsc2B2g6c&t=8592s 🎥 🐺 Also, here's a week-long solo trip I did down the Wold River in the Yukon 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o2XPqq2tiA&t=448s #NorthwestTerritories #SoloCanoe #WildernessExpedition #CanadaWilderness #Whitewater #RiverExpedition #SoloAdventure #BushCraft #NWT #NatlaRiver #KeeleRiver #MackenzieRiver #WildernessCanoe #CanoeExpedition #AdventureDocumentary #CanadianWilderness #Boreal #RemoteExpedition #SurvivalSkills #OutdoorAdventure #Floatplane #WildCanada #RiverPaddling #ExpeditionCanoe #JimBairdAdventurer Follow me on social media 📸 : Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jbadventurer/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jbadventurer tiktok: https://tiktok.com/@jbadventurer 🛒 Check out my Amazon shop here: https://www.amazon.ca/shop/jimbaird-adventurer?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_0K9WXSPJMJYHKKWCJ9C5 📖 Buy the Complete Written Works of Jim Baird here: https://www.theadventurer.com/product-page/complete-written-works-of-jim-baird-adventurer Chapters: 0:00 What I have Planned for this Journey 1:44 Left All Alone at the Yukon / Mackenzie Divide 6:16 Hooking into a MONSTER Bull Trout! 10:41 Whitewater Amps Up! 🌊 🛶 😬 21:21 Morning of Day 3 - Epic Campsite (Despite the Grizzly Bear Tracks) 41:19 The Crux of the Natla - Running a Class 4 Rapid all Alone 45:16 Cooking up a Rubaboo on the Keele River 46:57 Paddling Beside a Grizzly Bear! 55:51 BIg Rapids & Making Time on the Beautiful Keele River 59:20 Evadence of a Very Old Mountain Dene Campsite 10:04:13 Scary Weather Moves In 1:08:41 Exploring Side Sloughs & Landslides 1:13:28 Old Burns, Heavy Wind & Wild Strawberries at the end of the Keele 1:20:43 The Mighty Mackenzie River - (Heavy Rain) 1:26:45 Stopping in the Indigenous Community of Tulita, NWT 1:28:55 Windbound for 14-Hours at Bear Rock on the Mackenzie River 1:32:23 Going for it!
