Spend five minutes on EMS social media and you'll think the profession is dying. Burnout, bad pay, broken reimbursement, abuse of the system — the problems are real, and I'm not going to pretend they aren't. But the doom-and-gloom you see online is only half the story, and it's scaring good people away from a career that's actually changing for the better. In this video I break down the real problems facing EMS today, where the profession is headed, why you shouldn't trust the toxicity on your feed — and why, despite all of it, I believe this is the best time in history to get into EMS.
