The sun is finally out in Scotland (although briefly), and I headed out for a summit wild camp on Càrn Dearg (Monadhliath). I headed into Glen Banchor, on the edge of The Cairngorms and started out up towards Càrn Dearg, weaving through boggy ground and making my way up through snowy patches to the summit. Wind and cloud arrived through the night, rewarding me with a lie in, but there were some beautiful views as I descended down alongside the river.
