How the Pacific Crest Trail Changed My Life

The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2,653 mile footpath across the United States, from Mexico to Canada. It travels through the desert of California, high alpine of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the volcanic range of the Cascades in Oregon and Washington. It is remote, it is difficult, and you never know... you might meet the love of your life out there. This video was made as soon as I finished the PCT, as a private gift to my now girlfriend of three years. It is one of my favorite things I've ever made, and I always thought about maybe making it public someday. I hope you enjoy it too. I've added some to it to reflect the journey we've been on together since the PCT these last three years. From traveling New Zealand together, walking across the Canadian Rockies on the Great Divide Trail, the Superior Hiking Trail in the beautiful fall colors. Hiking across Utah on the Hayduke Trail in and out of it's many canyons. The Colorado Trail, Teton Crest Trail, Skateboarding across Florida on the Florida Trail, and walking across Costa Rica on el Camino de Costa Rica. All together we have hiked more than 3,700 miles together, have lived in Canada together, and have traveled all across the United States together in my van. Road tripping anywhere and everywhere. She likes to stay busy and I guess I do too. Our anniversary was recent and so this seems fitting.
