Hiking To The Rebel Rock Fire Lookout- Rebel Creek trailhead is located in the heart of the Cougar Reservoir area near Blue River and the McKenzie River. This remote and thick forested area is ideal cougar habitat and the trail showed many signs of cougar and other wildlife such as deer and elk. **THIS TRAIL AND THE FIRE LOOKOUT HAVE SINCE BEEN COMPLETELY BURNED IN THE REBEL WILDFIRE OF 2017.
