In January the sun doesn't rise above the arctic circle in Norway. This means a "day" is simply the sun hovering beneath the horizon for 2 hours, before the pitch dark arctic night settles again. This also means no sun affect in south faces, the perfect time to give the Queen of The Lyngen Alps a go.
