The park features towering pyramids, majestic temples, ball courts and ceremonial plazas, providing an immersive journey into the heart of Maya culture during the Classic Period (250-900 CE). Tikal National Park not only preserves the architectural marvels of the Maya but also showcases the vibrant biodiversity of the surrounding jungle.
