Solo Camping in the Beautiful Appalachian Highlands

Come spend a night hiking and camping in a super cool, pretty rare ecosystem. Spruce Fir forests and Appalachian Balds aren't too common around here, but at Carvers Gap they exist side by side. This is a gorgeous spot and it one of my personal favorites.... and it is not a difficult hike at all! That's a nice change of pace after the Faroe Islands.
