Our most recent Jackson Teton area snowpack update: Report from Avalanche Bowl, E/NE aspects, just under 9000 ft. Seeing multiple layers fail on isolation. 95 cm of new snow, with some slabs forming over the last 24 hours. Storm snowpack is upside down, with denser snow sitting on top. Failure is happing within the storm snow as well as at the intersection with the old faceted layers from the October storm.
