This farm was a cattle pasture when I bought it and that meant a lot of open acres that needed to be turned into habitat or food. Anything flat enough to allow tractor access we turned into either food plots or we tilled those acres and seeded them down to acorns. Those projects are stories for another day. But several acres in the valley are too steep for machine access. On these we had to hand plant to shrubs and bare root stock trees - starting back in 2024 and ending just a few days ago.
