FRENCH POLE DRILL // Advanced Edge Change and Posture Drill

This video shows a slightly different snowboard drill to what I normally teach. Instead of focusing mainly on steering the snowboard with the knees and ankles, this drill emphasizes larger movements through the hips and upper body. It’s designed to improve your riding posture and, most importantly, your movement at the edge change. By understanding and timing this movement better, you’ll be able to drive the snowboard more effectively through the turn, creating smoother, more powerful carves.
