A perfect day at the top of Clingman's Dome on the Appalachian Trail #backpacking

When I lived in Tennessee, I visited Clingman's dome many, many times. Never was a gifted a clear sky day. It's a notoriously foggy, cloudy, emotional place. The weather barely ever lets people see the amazing view from the top... So when we were thru-hiking the Appalachian trail and we just happened to cross the path on a beautiful day, we had to climb all the way to the top and take it all in. What a magical experience.
