Perry Lake Hike on the First Day of Spring… Bald Eagles Spotted 🦅

It was the 1st day of Spring and I just had to get out on a trail. I went to Perry lake, about an hour West of Kansas city. Old Military trail is part of a backpacking loop that I would like to hike and camp some day soon, so I decided to scout out a small portion. Not only did I find a nice campsite, but also 2 Eagles, one sitting on a nest, presumably guarding eggs or young. This was a fun and unexpected hike and I hope you enjoy!
